Insight with real-world integration
My Approach
I provide a consistent and steady space where you can bring what feels difficult, unresolved or uncertain.
I see therapy as a living process rather than a fixed method. What unfolds between us often reflects the patterns shaping your wider relationships and your inner world.
Our work focuses on understanding those patterns rather than judging them. From that understanding, we create deliberate change.
I use psychological concepts, approaches and theories to empower clients to build their own capacity to heal. Because - yes - to create lasting change, we need to release and process our pain, but we also need to build resources and resilience. We need more of what has been missing – flexibility, safety, connection, adult perspective, regulation, confidence, compassion, self-beleif and agency. Building and integrating what might be limited or missing is the foundation of my approach.
My practice has taught me that this approach – which is all about empowerment, agency and self-connection – leads to life-changing results for people seeking to transcend trauma and old ways of being.
This is for you if:
You’re ready to make changes and move out of old patterns
You’re anxious, overwhelmed, stressed or shut-down
You often feel like you’re failing or getting things wrong
You struggle to state your needs or to self-care
You find relationships confusing or challenging
You feel held back by old narratives or a persistent inner critic
You’re navigating addictive tendencies or are in recovery
You’re carrying grief or loss
You need an expert to guide and support you so you can stop trying to ‘figure it all out’ alone
You’ve had enough want to reclaim yourself and your life
How sessions work:
If my approach feels right for you, get in touch to inquire about sessions. Once I’ve received your enquiry, I’ll get back to you to discuss your needs and availability.
Online: I see clients from all over the world; my approach works very well virtually. Once we have agreed a time, you will be sent a link for an online session.
Face to face: I have limited session slots available for in-person sessions at Kitisuru, Nairobi. Please get in touch for more information.
Timing: Sessions last 60 or 90 minutes. The 60-minute session is standard. 90 minutes offers extended time for deeper exploration, couples work or trauma-focused pacing.
Some clients see me every week, others every 2 weeks, and some see me every so often on an ad hoc basis.
I am very happy to offer a free 15 minute consultation to help decide if I am the right therapist for you.
“Your task is not to seek for love, but merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it.”
